Calling all Wirral and surrounding area rodders - urgent

Hi Guys.

Sorry for the very short notice but a few of us have been getting (back)together like a good number of us used to do (a few years back) with a view to making it open to all.

Unless and until we can find somewher better in due course it's at the Cottage Loaf in Thurstaston (a540 main road from Chester to West Kirby - about 3 miles out of Heswall on the West Kirby side) at 9.00 pm on the second Wednesday of the month.

This doesn't conflict with the AAM do's in South Manchester.

So if your around do drop in. Don't be shy :D.
Open to all with an interest in Rods / Customs.
Second Wednseday menans it's TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!! (13 Feb)

If you're coming do let us know or just turn up!

Thanks to those who turned up last night. 2 directly off this forum and a number we'd asked directly. Some great cars out too - i dunno why i didn't take the '36, just got out of the habit for the winter i guess.

And hopeefully nobody missed us as a result of the organisation screw-up:rolleyes:. See whe'd checked the place out for a Thursday then had to change to a Wednesday without thoroughly checking it out. So we turns up to find an otherwise quiet place rammed because it was quiz night! Doh!:o Funny though, we'd looked out for evidence of such things and in fact had joked about such occurrences, but failed to do the obvious - simply ask!

So to perpetuate our poorly organised happenings we're meeting up at the Yacht (near Two Mills on the road to Chester from South Wirral) on 28 Feb. All welcome as before. We'll find a venue that works eventually we hope :D

Of the ten or so folks that made the last meet, all but 3 turned up in a nice assortment of dailies! So rod / custom as means of getting there is not a prerequisite! Being there is what counts. Come in what you like :D.
