Hi everyone, my name's Jo Robbins. I was having difficulties coming up with a username so my other half came up it (pop due to our recent car purchase and dragon as I have collected them for years which range from a garden ornament in our front room to socks with dragons on).

I've always liked looking at cars, especially any that are a bit unusal, but it all really started when we went to Ragley Hall back in May. We talked to a few people with cars and everyone seemed really friendly and really wanted to share their experiences.

We then noticed the event at Billing - so decided to go on the Saturday (as the weather was supposed to be better). Once again everyone seemed really friendly and willing to talk about their vehicles and give advice when we asked questions. We had such a great time on the Saturday that we cancelled our plans to go to a local American car event and travelled back to Billing, where our first visit was to the tent to become members.

By the time we left Billing I knew my husband had made up his mind about getting ourselves a car - I didn't think it would be by the end of the night (but it was).

Since we got her the work has started. I've never covered anything in vinyl before - but I tried and it didn't go as badly as I thought it would (something new under my belt). We've removed and put back in the rear window (due to a leak) that was a bit hairy but we did it. This is all really new to me but I'm sure we will both learn as we go along, and everyone seems really willing to help and discuss their stories with you which is encouraging.

I'm really looking forward to Biggleswade (already booked that) and meeting loads more people and hearing their stories. Just need the :rain:to stop now!!!!!

That's enough about me - thought I'd have a problem writing an intro, but it's amazing where it comes from.

Hopefully meet more members soon
