i looked at the list of traders and couldn't see any HotRod traders listed, only lifestyle traders, also thought it very odd that it's on my doorstep but havnt heard about it before :confused:

Yup noticed that, very odd that they advertise it as a type of hotrod event but only 1 hotrod orientated trader :whistle:

I think that`s because that`s what it is Steve .... a "lifestylers" weekend, much along the style of the Hemsby etc weekenders. Not your kind of thing ..... me thinks :eek: :D...

Well the music looks good, I still think it odd that they encourage hotrods but don't have HotRod traders :confused:

I got a call from the organizer Mark just now and got to the bottom of it, they don't want any Hotrod traders as Jack Hammer is the main sponsor and they don't want them to have any competition, His words not mine :yes:

it's a lifestyle event not a rod run.....90% of lifestylers dont have rods...vis a vie why have hot rod traders when it's not a rod orientated event but an event aimed at people in the retro lifestyle?

Paul i'm aware what type of event it is but my point was that they advertise it as they want to see hotrods attend, they said on the phone they hope it will grow.

Probably would have been more traditional type hot rods going if it hadn't clashed with 'Gow' at Prescott.

BTW Paul, will you be at Prescott? I'll bring those tyres if so.

When I said I though the hobby was fractionising recently most people disagreed, this is exactly what I meant.
