As some folks know i suffer from chronic nerve damage down my rightside which when it flares up can cause me major grief...which is whats happening at the moment, i basically cant sit, stand or walk without crying and i admit i've done that quite a few times over the last 2 weeks, the morphine isnt even touching the pain....anyway as i normally draw using a Wacom Drawing tablet straight onto a Mac thats not happening at the moment because of the pain...so as i am fanatical about drawing i found an old photo and sketched this out from it...broke out the coloured pencils and bobs yer uncle...i hear a lot of people say that because artwork is done on a computer that its cheating...i can safely say that you do actually have to be able to draw to use one, it dont do it for you...so heres a "real" drawing.....

Congratulations on an outstanding skill, I have been practising with several great photoshop tutorials from the print24 blog (http://print24.com/blog/2013/06/40-photo-realistic-photoshop-tutorials/), just trying to get my hands to get better at using my laptop for drawing, but your skill is the reason why I want to go back and do some hand drawing practise more often. I also sincerely hope that you are feeling better, please consider viewing some Darren Brown's series on the power of our minds (especially the placebo effect (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfDlfhHVvTY) story) that apparently can cause some positive changes (http://www.cancer.org/treatment/treatmentsandsideeffects/treatmenttypes/placebo-effect). I wish for you to continue suprising us with your works that hopefully can take away your pains and thank you for sharing this.

Wow! And that is whilst you are not in top form? Fantastic.
do you take commissions? Got a '57 caddy and matching caravan which would make a good subject!
all the best, hope you are firing on all cylinders soon.
cheers,
simon
