Had a fantastic day out today, I was invited by a load of local rodders on a driving Rod Run through the mountains.
This was only for Vintage Rods, In total we had 22 cars for the Drive up.

We started in Evergreen Lake which is about 1 hour south of me, a nice drive by the foothills of the mountains to meet up - starting at about 6'000 feet above sea level

Like a Dumb ass I forgot my GoPro camera so only this short video, was too hard to try and drive super tight hairpins and film!

We were at just under 11'000 feet then, the road to Mt Evans was still closed due to snow - thats some 14,600 feet!

This is Lookout Mountain looking back down towards Denver

That's what i'm talking bout! You lucky devil, looks like a good time you had there. Good to see cars being driven instead of just standing around. Nice pics, thanks for posting.

Yeah, it was about a 120mile drive. One of the best days I've had for a long time.
