SSR Auction at the Supernats.

In memoryof Mike Payne, the “Surrey Street Rodders” are running an auction at theSupernats, this weekend.

The item in question is 30 years of “Street Rodder” magazine, right from issue1. 18 years are in folders. These were from Mike’s personal collection, so asyou could imagine they are all in perfect condition.

Theproceeds from this auction will be donated to “PhyllisTuckwell Hospice”, whohelped Bernie and the family to look after Mike.

Furtherdetails of actual auction will follow later today, but the club wanted to getthe word out there today.

The collection was bought from Bernie & the family, by the club with the money from Wheelsday (you guys n girls in the short), which in turn has been passed on to the hospice. So there you go another donation to a worthy cause. Thanks again to you all for attending Wheelsday, without you the club would not be able to support the local charities who do so much.

We are looking to do this on Sunday afternoon before the guest talk or before prize giving , keep an eye on chalk boards for info .
If anyone wants to give a sealed bid because you need to go home etc , put it into an envolope with your contact details and had it in to the Nsra tent and we will open it at the time

its taken some time but I have nearly read them all before I bring them on Friday,

a nice collection worth a bid ( I will be) and all the winning cash will go to the hospice in mikes name.
