SSR can confirm that the 40th Wheelsday (2014) will take place at a new and bigger site.
The new site will be no other than that of Dunsfold Park, Surrey. Yes Dunsfold park, the one used for the "Wings and Wheels" show, oh and as well as the Top Gear test track.
Date - Good Friday 18/04/2014.
We are still in the early stages of planning but the site has been booked (one step at a time).
The club has a lot of things in the pipeline for the 40th show, so keep an eye out on here and other forums. We shall update you as the year goes on.
However, one thing we can confirm is that "NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED". Yes we have said it in the past and we have been laxeds on this but we are on a new site and the owners have stipulated this right from the outset. So we have to obey it.
Therefore, we will be inforcing it, so if you turn up with a dog you will not be allowed in and turned away (We will not have to worry about clogging up the main roads as there is plenty of area for us, so checks will be inforced). If you manage to get in with a dog and are walking round with you will be escorted off site. If you get in and leave a dog in your vehicle, the relevant autorities will be there to save your dog, with out giving a second thought to your vehicle. Before anyone asks this is for the four legged kind of dog:D . We have had a lot of grief about this in the past so please help us to keep the show going and in helping lots of charities, by not bringing your dogs.
Cheers and see your there.
