We've made a couple of little changes to the Forum following the AGM
(there are still some other changes to look at when time permits).
1 - New Guests now get 100 posts before reverting to 'Guests', as requested by Committee.
2 - I've tried to simplify the process of uploading an image from your PC.
There was one step that didn't seem to work reliably on all browsers, so I've kind of bypassed it.
Posting an image from your PC
- In your post, click the 'Insert Image' icon in your editing toolbar (the one with the little tree on it).
You'll see a dialog box with two 'tabs' at the top - one for 'From Computer' and the other 'From URL'.
- Select the 'From Computer' tab,
- Click the 'Choose File' or 'Select Files' or button.
- Browse to the required image on your computer and click 'Open'.
- Click the 'Upload File(s)' button.
You should now see a small ('thumbnail') of your image inserted into your post.
(Although you see a thumbnail at this stage, your image should show at a good large size when you save your post - i.e. you don't need to worry about that unreliable 'double-click to re-size your image' step)
- Continue adding text or images, than 'Save' your post.
Thanks to Glyn (GVTdrums) who did a full run-through for us - I've moved it into the 'Forum Rules and Help' section here:
