View Full Version : '57 Chevy now lowered
Just got some pics sent through of the '57 pushed out in the daylight with the front clip on.
Its 3" lower in the rear and 2" in the front now. The headers and sump are 4 1/2" off the floor and the exhaust tips 6". It has a 2" rake front to rear. I'm really pleased with it and with the front bumper will look even lower. Just the BOV's to fit and the rear wing which will be subtle so to not upset the profile of the shape.

Adam,
Nice pictures, car sits nice and low, I love cars with this type of stance :)
All that hard work of getting mine low as possible and now had to raise it an inch or so, due to car going back on the road :(

Yeah, that could be fun :D Be  to see 2 hard hittin motors driving along.
Hopefully we will get the chance to meet up at some time during the year, I still have a way to go, maybe be on the road for April/May. Then take to bits in the winter for paint and upgrade front struts.
Good luck with the rest of your build,
Cheers,

Mmmm, nice.
It shows just how important the ride height/stance is to a finished rod.
Can't wait to see this one.

Like this Steve? Pic done by Scott Patterson about a year ago. Amazing how close the finished vehicle is to it.
