I have a set of 4.500 bore Ross forged pistons (# 85069 VL) to fit a Big block Chevy with 6.385 rods with a 4.250" bore. 8.5:1 CR for blown applications.
They are all in good condition. They come with full floating tool steel pins & rings (oil rings removed to get the rods off).
If you putting a budget 540ci engine together (if there is such a thing) these will do the job.
Ross Racing pistons are forged from 2618-T61 aluminum alloy and come standard with a ton of great features, including:
* Forced piston-pin oilers
* Valve pockets engineered for oversized valves and modern high-lift cams
* Fully CNC-machined skirts to deal with high heat and side loadings
* Balanced to +/- 2.5 grams
* Aircraft-quality pins
These are £800.oo+ new.
£220.oo ono
Will swap for a set of 4.310" pistons for a 6.385 rod.
