A quick intro as it seems to be upsetting folk that some have been too brief, I have always been interested in bikes, scooters and cars since I was a kid. My first experiance of drag racing was at Blackbush, as kids we would cycle over and hide our bikes in the woods and sneak in round the back. Later as a teenager Hot Rod the movie set me on a long journey to finally owning a Willys Gasser, only taken 30 years! in between I have built a number of Minors, a 21 stud Flathead powered 27 T, a Rover powered 32 coupe, I still own a 49 Ford club coupe, and am presently the custodian of Adrian Smiths old Chevy truck, which I swapped for my old Harley 45 bobber.
The cars have been swaped or sold along the way but I have managed to hang on to most of the friends that I have made, I am proud to say that I am an active member of the EXECUTIONERS CAR CLUB, I have raced in and helped organise the Flathead Meltdown, been involved in the Hot Rod Hayrides and various Spring & Autumn Riot's at the Ace Cafe.
When I first started going to shows in the 70's I wondered what all the old grey bearded blokes were doing, now I understand, wondering where their youth went and if they can afford the parts for the next project!
See you at the Hayride!
Ian Whittaker.

Kev, with the greatest respect in the world, to presuppose that I in fact have a Christian name, is to assume that I was ever baptised or live my life based on the doctrines of Christianity, and the teachings of Christ.
Although I would support any individuals right to worship in whatever way they see fit. Shall we simply say that my FIRST name is Ian, since we do not yet have a forum section dedicated to theological debate, may I simply wish you a full tank, long roads and many years to continue to enjoy them!

IAN.
