very nice car indeed! except the unfinised floor behind the axle. I'd still have it though....

What makes that car even better is that Robert Lomas, is the real deal!! He has always built some of the nicest cars.
Jimmy White
Must admit that I do prefer a '33/'34 to be full fendered.

All to do with timing, and historical perspective ,, as the ZZ top car introduced much of the world to rods at that time ( no multi channel TV ,no PC access, very little importation of real steel cars from the States ) ,plus the entire trad rod thing hadn't become fashionable and was still in the hands of true believers.
You had to be there to understand ;)
Love the stance on this.

I'm pretty sure that my favourite will be George Poteet's when we get to see it.

The only things I knew for sure back then, were how to pause the Betamax VCR on the ZZ Top videos, and that I had to have a coupe one day! Didn't think it would take me this long though!

No pics, Vince, as I was really only having a close look at it during that 2-minute shower around 3 o'clock! Seriously, though, it looked pretty good, with rumble seat mounts, a seperate dash, and the cowl vent in it. It had about a three inch recess in the firewall.
