Who said he can afford it !

Trying to get some sponsorship on board if there is any rich pop lovers out there!!!Wouldnt want to guess how much it cost to go from petrol to blown alky especially bringing in a seven second complete engine from the states and flying it over not any of your cheap boat stuff. And finally given the magic treatment by the best chassis builder none to man mr isaacs. Now take a quick look at this guys tig welding!!!! But hey have you heard that baby start up!! if not you must see it.

He can afford new ones but im helping with the pit crewing and trying to do him a favour getting the bonnet thingys.Didnt realise how much it costs for him to race let alone pay for us pit guys to help out etc.

it does cost a nice few quid to race martin. i remember when i was crewing for my mate about 4 years ago. it worked out about £300-£400 for the weekend. and in competion that twice a month so £600-£800 a month with out any brakages.
bit more expensive than a £20 rwyb.

you said he cant afford pop brown bonnet pulls, but with buying an engine from the states and a built chassis etc he's not short of money and 4 x bonnet pulls from pop browns are only £32.
that was the reason for my original post.

i got a couple of them in the garage but the chrome's gone off them.

You are exactly right mr crumble.I reckon with fuel and burgers a few trips to the bar etc i reckon more like 500 squid.
Do miss not having a car but not the expense of it all but really missing a v8 underfoot any suggestions on a cure apart from a visit to the doctor.
By the way i have a new set of boxed peep mirrors to get rid of a brand new locking door handle with keys in bag and popular bonnet badge new also 2 new internal door handles and new chassis plate maybe sell as lot 25% less than mr brown or do part deal on the bonnet thingys. hope to see you at the pod end of month maybe.
