WANTED: Vintage Oil Filter Housing

Can anyone help? I'm after an old canister style oil fuel filter housing - something like the pictures shown below (which are from 40s/50s commercial/military vehicles). Can be in bits or falling apart - condition doesn't matter as I'll be most likely respraying it! Anyone got anything suitable lying about?

hi i got one come with pair of bracket it early 1950s heavy approxed 12" high 6 inches diameter shape similar your second photos if u interesting and happy to sell as it rare one from USA

Try Jeepparts, they sell 1940's willy's jeep parts and the bottom picture is the same as a jeep oil filter

Thanks for the info, only one I can find in the UK is £80 and so would be cheaper to buy one from the states!

I have a 50's Fram Full-flow unit in good complete condition, would want a repaint to make perfect, but it has a great look to it as-is, and the original stickers are in tact. £50. 07816390962
