We will be there to take photos if we get back from the Salsbury mag bike show in time. It's only 10mins from home so we will a slight detour to show our faces.

Sorry, I have crap traction in the dry I doubt I'd even get the car out of the garage and up the hill today in the snow!!.

How about a real drive to get people to the next one? Assuming it doesn't clash with anything, and assuming I have fitted my new engine by then I'd definitely be interested in going again.

Last time I went we were too late and ended up in with all the Boy Racers...LOL

Well it was about 5.45 before we managed to show up. Only a handfull of cars left. What did we miss? Hope this picks up as would be good to have somewhere local to go when we have built our pop. This event has our support and it would be a shame to let the numpties in their hatchbacks win. Hotrods were first and should be last. Here are a few snaps of what was left when we got there.

Duno. It was thick when we left home at lunch and when we got to Salisbury there was not a drop of snow anywhere. In our garden there is only a tiny bit left under the hedge. Doesn't seem like the same day.

The trouble with Guildford is that people started arriving earlier and earlier ( official start time used to be 8.00!!) making sure they got a power parking spot. So slowly the event shifted its time making the event clash with normal shopping times .The landlords at the time decided to withdraw their support which stopped the marshalling which let in the boy racers that drove away most cruisers.

If we want it back it needs to be organised again.

Mr and Mrs Manky did you get the Zodiac from Mel Briggs?

Kapri do you mean the blue one in the photos I put on? That's all we got as we were late getting there. Don't know who owns it sorry.

Chris owns the zodi, had it a couple of years now,i think your right Kev it did belong to a guy towards the coast somewhere, normally bump into him at the Wessex weekender
It used to run a rover v8,now it's been rewired,re trimmed and runs a healthy Ford 302 kicking out 400bhp
He only lives down the road from the cruise that's him in the grey jacket stood by the lwb green pick-up and that's also his dad's Chevy pick-up in the other pic
