as per title i need an inlet and carb for the pinto i'm fitting to the nash. weber 32/36 not the later funny looking twin choke newer sierra's had please. i can get a new (chinese) weber copy for under £100 (so no silly prices please) so even an inlet with good threads cheap will do.
cheers, neil.

Neil, if you're still looking I think I have one in my lockup. Thought I had photos but couldn't find one so would have to go there over the weekend to check it. It was from a P100 I think but don't know if they varied between vehicles much. Probably £25 shipped by Hermes.

Neil,be sure to secure the fuel hose back to the carburettor body in case the brass fitting comes loose or out, there has been at least one case of this happening with new Weber’s,I suspect it was a copy carb and a fire resulted.
Or maybe the brass fitting could be better fitted.

not just copies mate, i had it happen to me on a 2.0 cortina about 30 years ago (no chinesium webers them). i pulled the boot carpet to smother the fire and managed to get it out. the pipe from the pipe must have been flapping about spraying fuel all over 'til the carb ran out and the engine died. that was a butt clencher for sure. i banged the brass fitting back in with the wheelbrace and hooked the melted throttle cable round the brake cylinder so i could drive it home, lol.

Ahhh, you found out about it through experience, glad it wasn't too bad,it's an iffy design for sure, would be better screwed in on a thread.
Anyone looking in should be now aware too.
