(4th May 2008) ...Up nice and early this morning, fav hotrod shirt washed and ironed, made a packed lunch and a huge flask of tea...and off to Drayton Manor custom show I head. Took a steady trip there without speeding or getting lost...what could possibly go wrong ????
Driving up Drayton's grand entrance road my heart is all of a flutter with excitement...................I can't wait to see all the lovely pops and rods....
Uuhuuhhhh !!!! ?????? Where is everyone ???????
Can you believe it...a fully grown educated man who can't even turn up to a show on the right day??? Is it me ?........mind you I did exactly the same thing at Billing last year....
I suppose you could say I am the first one at Drayton this year.....
I just hope my packed lunch and flask of tea will last all week.......see ya all when you all get here.
** It's always a great show with a good turnout of rods come rain or shine, and I would'nt miss it for the world **
