My Pop 'Ghia' is blessed with Trafficators.. which work!
I couldnt understand why the previous owner had disabled them by putting little metal clips in to prevent them working... until last night when i realised that at about 60mph they both rise up to the horizontal and stick out like a pair of wings!! Looked dead silly :D now where did i put those clips?

Still got them on mine, they stay in ok, but when "pressing on" they tend not to return and hang there like they need a viagra!

I haven't got any Pop ones to look at, but the trafficators on a Pilot, lock in the down position.

There is an L shaped groove arrangement that locks the arm until the solenoid is operated.

Has anyone got some Pop ones to look at, as it may be that the groove is worn, or it may be that they did not have the same arrangement, as Ford did not think a standard Pop went fast enough for it to be a problem.

mine has semaphores in the b pillars below window height. They have no clips to hold them down. Not noticed them coming up of there own accord though, but then it is stock :)
