Yes, those `Molotow` chrome pens work great John, the smoother the final surface the better the effect!. I used one for all the wheels and chrome on this revamp of an old Revell `Skippers Critter`.... with a twist!.

I raked through my model parts boxes and managed to find most of the parts of the Monogram `Uncertain T` that I built in the late `60s. Seeing as the full size rod recently resurfaced (now owned by Bo Boekmann and to be restored by Dave Shuten), I thought it only appropriate to restore mine!.
I originally left the body White (as it came from the box) but the parts I did paint have now been stripped (using Strip Magic) and all parts still glued together have been separated for cleaning/rebuilding and re-chroming.
My main problem ATM is finding a suitable Tangerine Metallic/Candy paint in a spray can as I don`t own an air brush!...

I've abandoned the Molotow chrome inks now and shifted allegiance to Green Stuff Worlds chrome inks. They do a brushable as well as a spray version. Both work really well and seem to be more durable than the Molotow inks.

Hannants are heavily discounting some of the Tamiya spray paint range, clear red and orange included. Worth hoovering up a decent amount if you see a candy red 1.8th scale '32 Ford in your future. Postage is the same for one can or twenty.
It's in the special offers part of the website menu. No gold shown on offer but I think Tamiya paint would go over Halfords type paint without problems. Don't hold me to that though!
