Shut up you! :whistle:
Thanks Mark, less progress today as I was knocking up cement (ooh my back :( )
Finished the passenger door panel;

and trimmed the steering wheel centre as John said it looked crap - still needs a logo disc in the middle but unsure the grey is an improvement or not.

Coming on really well Mark, that sure does shine.
Cheers. Tim W.
Progress has been slow recently as work & preparations for house move have taken up a lot of time.
Passenger door is now back on the car but some extra work was needed for it to work right. The door handle was binding when it was fitted - it's always been a bit stiff but it had tightened up to the point that it would stay pointing down when opened.
The problem was the little 'cage' on the inside of the door skin - it was too small for the handle mechanism and was binding on it. The answer was to carefully cut the cage off the back of the door skin and very carefully with a Dremel grind off the metal until it was just the door skin remaining - without damaging the paint on the outside!
I then made a 6mm steel reinforcing plate to fit behind the panel drilled & tapped to take the door handle. Once this was painted and the inner door skin also painted I Sikaflexed into place and tightened it all up to set. It all works perfectly now.
As we are about to move it's a case of bolting all the parts on temporarily for now as they will be safer to move when fitted to the car.
Front splitter and grills are fitted to the flip front - they will all have to come off again when I get round to flatting & polishing the paint as not done this bit yet;

Boot panels are all fitted - still need to finish off the fuel tank wiring neatly;

And finally got round to doing the electric window wiring in the doors, had to make a little bracket to fit the relays onto, I can now do the last bits of wiring on the car to get the windows working.

Gonna be a stunner Mark.
Thanks Guys.
Window wiring all finished now, window mechanisms all whirring up and down nicely - just need some windows to attach them to!

As I'm moving in 10 days time work will probably grind to a halt for a bit :(
Nothing to report about the car, but 8 days before we move I have finally concreted between the garage and the access road - might be able to have it's maiden drive tomorrow if the cement has gone off enough - eek!
dont forget to do a video
Will do :)
What you have all been waiting for!!

Last one, I did have good footage from inside the car - but it did not record :(

Took me about 1 1/2 hours to clean it after though - it's a mucky car park :(
Was rather good fun though :yes::D goes nice, steering a bit different, but a quick release wheel will feel strange I guess, brakes - I hope they get better when adjusted properly as they are not awe inspiring at the moment.
