I meant you usually do the panels before fitting up with lights and trim etc

Spent some time looking round your Pop Mark at wheels day and it is to say the least impressive, pictures don't do it justice, very nice:thumbsup2:
All that polishing.well worth it.paint flawless.
Ah, right. Lights go on as they also double up as the fixings for the flip front to the steel frame. Badge was only loosely fitted with the grill trims as it was easier to move the car complete than in boxes during house move - less likely to lose anything that way.
Thanks guys for the compliments - makes all the efforts of getting it there worthwhile.
Looking very wet!!

Hi Mark,
Lots, Im back on it, and Ive made one hell of a list of problems, most of the jobs Ive had done professionally in the past are rubbish, so I have a plan to turn it around, so a last BIG push is on, with an early next year debut.
I will be updating my build thread soon,
Congrats for getting yours to wheels day, looks great out there, good luck for the last few jobs,
Enjoy the summer,
Cheers
Mike C.
Looks good stood outside Mark. Good luck with the finishing touches and have a ball in it this summer mate.
Cheers. Tim W.
Thanks for all the nice comments.
They are all well deserved! Very nice work.
A bit more progress after drying it out from Wheelsday.

Also working through the snag list - weeping thermostat housing turned out to be a banana shaped face on the housing surface :dunno: no wonder I could not get it to stop. A stint on the linisher saw it nice & flat again so with some RTV sealant applied it should now be leak free.
Whenever I feel sluggish on my Pop, I check your determination and progress. It rejuvenates me! Thanks.
