Looking very well Neil, and I think the quiz answer is where the arch joins the sill, the continuous arc to it at the bottom. If I've explained it right.

hi Tim, if you mean the bit the door rubber (glued to the door) seals against then yes. with the increased radius and height of the new arch it was lost half way between the sill and the 'c' post. a new bit folded and curved to suit is now in place. there'd be a nasty draught if it wasn't there for the seal to press against so had to be done.
neil.
Think we're talking about the same bit Neil. [emoji106]

first off i don't want any cr4p about no pictures so button it .
the car is now back on the 2 post lift and all but the o/s/f wheels are back on. the n/s/r arch had to be cut to get the wheel on of course. the driver's 'a' panel/end of sill area has had all the rot cut out and templates are made ready to be transferred to steel. once that's done tomorrow it's going back on the ground, woohoo :thumbs_up_smiley:. pics tomorrow once we're done with the above.
neil.
Coming on Neil, not sure if it's my phone but the pictures didn't come out [emoji2960] ... I'll get my coat.

ok so i know i said tomorrow but that was the day before yesterday making today the day after tomorrow but yesterday today would've been tomorrow so it is technically tomorrow today even though tomorrow is actually now...... well tomorrow. clear?
the last corner is done and it now sits on it's wheels again, although technically not 'again' as these wheels weren't on it before so are new to this car but it's wearing them now and on the ground again. ash is coming round with his recovery truck tomorrow (here we go again, lol) or saturday (the day after tomorrow) to turn it round so we can do it all again on the n/s. oh joy.
neil.
Well Neil, no matter what day it is it still looks the bollies mate. Well done. [emoji106]

thanks Tim, i recon we're just over 1/2 way now. we're going to get some 2k epoxy primer on the bare steel bits in case it's raining when ash comes to turn it round.
neil.
it's tomorrow already and as if by majic the primer's all over the bare steel and it's back in the garage the other way round! we gave 2 coats to inside the gutters for more protection. not really, it was to use up the mixed 2k rather than waste it but you'd have believed me if i hadn't told you ;). and there's even a pic to confirm the deed
neil.
ps in this pic with it in primer it's one of those things like the roof, unless you parked it next to a stock car (or were a zephyr zodiac nerd) you wouldn't notice the vw t25 wheel arch that's there now.
Nice work Neil :thumbs_up_smiley:
thanks, it's getting there :)
neil.
As I said earlier Neil looks brilliant. [emoji106]

we haven't stopped, honest. it's up in the air again with the n/s on stands this time. doors are off for the first time and 90% of the sill panels are chopped off.
neil.
Oh err missus. [emoji106]
