Stumbled across the ‘blasphemi’ drag week before looking on here, excellent watch.
watched two of the ‘Old model T guy” vids ,100E was in #2 ,the car coral vid, left hand drive ,but he calls it an “ Angelica” 3 times even though the badge is there and the show board it in big letters ANGLIA
Ive never noticed fire extinguishers placed by the cars in #3 show vid, maybe a requirement of the organisers for showcars driven in ?
Up to that point I thought he was very informative, good watch though ,thanks for the recommendations :thumbsup2:

:D and they are east coast hotrods, which reminds me of something else, random, not the best year to have booked your hotrod vacation;no Bonneville nor Trog.Strange
I was going bonneville but the Norwegians had a change of plan so at least I didn’t waist my money.

It would have been a double body blow as I went in 2019 they didn’t start running till Tuesday and I was heading back to Salt Lake City on Tuesday. The salt was so sticky like glue. Somebody said that the water comes to the top and evaporates.don’t no if that’s true. But it took a long time to dry. Loved it though all the same.

To put this in perspective.I’m just a spectator. I felt really sorry for the people that spend hours preparing and travelling. My friends morten and jan are in the process of putting a car together that will run in different classes. They already hold records in there belly tank.

Respect,Ive never been.Where the hell do you stay, the nearest hotel/motel must be miles away and surely fully booked.I love the road trips the Rolling Bones make out there.Did you come across Mike Cooke? No less than family of Stone Woods and Cooke, your darn tootin' :p:D
We stayed at a best Weston wendover boulevard. We flew into Salt Lake City then got the casino bus shuttle 25 dollars for a 200 mile return trip the shuttle runs becouse gambling and drinking are frowned upon. We asked the lady on reception to order us a taxi and she said my husband will take you. I said surly you won’t go on the salt with your car and his reply was I’m down there all the time. Then we hitched a ride back and paid for the fellows dinner the least we could do. You need to go the nugget car show is very good. All the bones park in a line opposite the casino entrance. I’ll definitely go back god willing.
