The headers on their Mk1s were built by Mike the Pipe.

I met Ron Harris about 10 years ago when I bought some crossflow bits off him through Nick Arlett. Didn't realise who he was at the time, or Nick Arlett for that matter

Ron showed me a Mk1 Escort and Nick was building a Vangard or something in his garden.

Nicks Vanguard is finished, but awaiting a bit of wiring for the ECU, and a new rack, its on hold as he has moved recently down the road, I suppose I will have to get my bum in gear soon to get the wiring done, I was meant to go and do it last week, but I could not get the time away from my new toy!!!

I walked past his place a week or so ago, that explains why I couldn't see any evidence of him living there while peering over his fence

Give me a shout when you go round if you don't mind me popping round too, I'm just round the corner.

Unfortunately my Mk1 Zephyr ( KHJ 504 ) doesn't appear to be an ex Harris car judging by the old log books, but has certainly had a 302 in it since the early 80's. Be nice to think that the Harris's perhaps had a bit of a hand in it at some time though.

Ive not been told I am changing the switches, but I know they were not that good and kept on falling apart.

fair enough! was a nice little anglia though, hot 1600gt and a welded diff, which was a bit naughty... think it might have been written off actually, not sure.

This is thought to be MDM 332 now in the hands of Chris Allen, the car has undergone some changes with a new bonnet, new 302, new unradiused arches and a change of registration, with the Zody now wearing TFF 305.
