Hi Tim
Thanks for popping round in your Pop (see what I did there?) and taking me out for a ride. Good to see it on the road and it was a smooth ride. Hope you enjoy having it on the road!
Dave
Thanks for the kind words Dave, shame it's taken almost 50 years to get one roadworthy

Well it's been a while since my last post...
The Pop's "running in" nicely and I must say it's running well, I however after my epic 19 year build find myself being drawn down a different path, so it's with a heavy heart I will be putting it up for sale!
I'd like to thank all those who have been on this 19 year journey with me for both your time and support.
I will draft an advert soon but should anyone wanting to own this piece of forum history wish to preempt the ad then please drop me a PM.
More when I know more.
Cheers Tim W.

Thats a surprise Tim, is there anything else to be said on the subject? maybe a future project ?
that's a shame tim, but as you say what you wanted 19 years ago probably isn't what you want today. good luck with the 'new' path mate
neil.

I have never replied to your build thread but:-
I’ve enjoyed your journey, it’s been a bit like a soap opera to me. Ups, downs and all the complications of live mixed in. Thanks for your dedication to the Pop and the thread.
As a lot of builds, sometimes the journey is more rewarding than the driving. I hope the new owner appreciates your work.

Loads of work put into a tidy pop. I thought I took me time.
Enjoy the new path.
Someone's gonna have nice rod.
Take care.

Small block 350 Chevy at last! Yep shoulda done it sooner.
Gotta have fun in my old age even if I am a grumpy ol git.
WOW I didn't see that coming
Thanks for the kind words and shock expressions lads, it actually feels good to get it off my chest
No John, no plans for another project at the moment, yes Neil that's probably pretty close to the truth of it, yes Julian I think the journey was the thing for me I needed to do it and to see it through but hadn't envisaged it taking quite so long! Glad you enjoyed being along for the ride. Thanks Gary, it's surprising where the time goes. Aye Pete you and me both mate.

So what alternative forms of washing line abuse / repurposing are in your future then?

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.
Haha, I think I'll look for an indoor hobby after 19 cold wet years outside Chris.

Haha. Yeah, I suppose I should have, but money spent on the garage couldn't be spent on the Pop mate. ?
Thanks Neil.
