It just looked similar to a red convertible that I was involved with work on that came from Leicester way .Not the original plate on it but I think the red one was a 1500GT on a B plate ( all sold that year was the run out of the GT production ).

Found these in hot car november 76,i know the 2nd ones already been on the thread but here it is again, it was featured in an early hot car & owned by derek thornley & was christened the sunset flyer, the blue one was ray parkers & took the best custom award at the show being featured in the hot car mag which was the first hot car cruise in at thruxton.

Sunset flyer was recently found in a lockup by a friend of mine. Knackered I think. Don't know if he left it there or not!

i think the blue and flamed one was at avon park last year
Charlie Stirling now owns the flamed one, he bought it last year off builder and owner since 1977 Steve Anderson from bournemouth. 460ci big block powered and runs 12.2 @ 112 for now
Charlie races it at York raceway as well as the Nostalgia's and HRD's.
