I purchased this car as a pile of bits left in the corner of a field by a restorer.
The Humber is in fact a 1929 body chopped 3” and channelled 2” over a 1926 chassis, running “S” type Jag independent front suspension on scratch built mounts with a radically narrowed “S” type Jag rear.
The car was built in the late 70’s and on the road then with a 3.8 Jaguar straight six motor which was replaced in 1982 with a 283 Chevy motor, tunnel ram inlet manifold with twin 600 Holleys, Powerglide auto box. In 1989 the 283 ci motor was replaced by a Goodwrench 350 ci Chevy. Then finally in the mid 90’s the 6:71 BDS blower was added. It did run a little hot with the blower, but that was remedied by having Nick Butler build a beautiful aluminium radiator.
This car over the years travelled in excess of 30,000 fun filled miles in my ownership, we took it to 3 Euro Nationals, and most major shows across the Country.

Hello for the life of me I can't find the photos so I'll add these off the photo cards. Is this pre blower or after? The photo card says 2004?![Name: 1587831979744.jpeg

The blower was taken off the Humber in 2003, prior to selling it.
