There used to be a blue Pinto powered plastic pig that ran scarily fast at Shakey back when it was still known as Long Marston Raceway.

That wasn't the one I was thinking of Nick. The one that I remember was a Robin van, not a Regal and still only had three wheels!!!!!

Excellent clip, nice venue Detling, pity it's not more central though.

Again so many memories of good times and good cars.
Its a bit sad but I used to keep an I-Spy sort of log book of the rods I'd seen in the flesh and a wish list of the ones I wanted to see!
Henry was one I spotted and followed down a country lane looking at her back axle hopping up and down over the bumps, I was in my Mk1 cortina with a lace panel paint job on the bonnet that was so bad I used to park it away from the Manchester cruise and walk in to hide my shame.

That was cool, although I must say that block sanding wasn't really in vogue back then.

I just noticed the wavy pop in the opening is sponsored by Plastic Padding, it all makes sense now.
