i keep looking at the pics hoping to see more i like but i have come to this conclusion... for me personally i only really like pops in black, original ratty black, matt black or shiney black... no graphics no or fancy paint jobs just black

wierd because i wouldn't choose most other cars in black, guess i just think their shape suits black...

Well the one that got me into it, Tangerine dream, followed by The Red Baron, Als Gasser, Mr Torquer, Hot and Bothered, Pinball, the original incarnation of Misdemeanour,Ian Armstrongs when red and Silver (sorry ian) more lately Billy the Kid, Dave homans blue pop, Mark Brackings Outlaw racer/street pop.
There are so many out there, hard to pick a fewand a lot of quality as well.

It started for me in 1979 following the build up feature in Hot Rod & Custom UK

Fast forward to 1999 and I finally have it sitting in my garage

Forward to 2009 and its still sitting in the garage, but now I have all the parts I need...it may have lost its registration along the way, but this is the same car I fell in love with 31 years ago.. It will be next in line after the van

Anyone got any more photos of it in their collections?

This used to belong to a mate of mine, he put a blower on it and I beefed the autobox up for him, he disappeared back to Oz when his Mrs buggered of with someone else, never saw the car again

Excluding my own Pop, my top ten (couldn’t narrow it down to three!), in no particular order…

I'm chuffed some of you have put my car within this lot. As for picking a favorit, i dont think i can. It's easy to judge a car on looks but i think a few Pops would make my top 10 because i know they get used, and used pretty hard. I even like stock Pops.

Gary McCormack's van always did it for me though. I wouldn't of changed a thing.
