A long way to come from Cornwall!

I like the chassis, who built it?
I may live in East London, I may have a number plate that reads "Chopt",
but I do NOT use 6" wheel spacers!

Where's the shifter going to end up if you use it as pictured? Too far back in a Pop, I suspect, but very happy to be wrong. I have a mid mount in my 32 and it's fine, but if I was on the front mount my missus could drive it, or could as is if I'd not forgotten to notch the bench seat!!

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.

You sit pretty much right in the back now so hoping shifter comes good , the t5 had shifter right at end of tail housing and that position was fine .. I didn’t paint the bolt in gearbox crossmember when painted frame coz I was holding out for a tko box .. need to get box in frame and remake crossmember then see where shifter lands … but hard when body is elsewhere awaiting paint.

Hoping get it back on its wheels next week or so then I’ll mount box etc

Ah ha! Silly me! Never considered the almost back seat driving possibility!

Not a lot of choice with big motor and stupid amount of roof chop … and being 6'2"
A auto box woulda been easier but wanted manual and only really heard good things about these .. the overdrive will come in handy on the looong drives from down here

When the gearstick on the MGB box in my Ruby (humble stuff compared to your epic Pop!) was too far back, I simply made a gearlever with a big dogleg shape, it works fine and you forget its even like that.
A really simple solution if you need it.
