The Forum Calendar is now set up so that NSRA Members can add, edit, move and delete their own Calendar entries.

Instructions

- From the top menu bar, choose the 'Calendar' option.

You should see an 'Add New Event' box at the bottom:

Click to select:
- Single, All Day Event - an event that takes place for the whole of a day.
- Ranged Event - events that have a defined start time and end time, not necessarily both on the same day.
- Recurring Event - repeat over a set period of time (for example an event that occurs on the first Sunday of every month)

- Go ahead and enter your event.
The 'Title' is what appears on the calendar, so enter a title that lets everybody know the event name AND the location - you have 50 characters available for this.

- Carefully choose the Month, Day and Year for the event.

Then fill in the rest of the event information.

- Give the basic event details, with address, postcode, times, contact info, phone, etc..

- If you've already set up a thread on the forum with full details, you could try adding a link to that thread.

- If your event has its own web site, you should also be able to add a link to the web page.

- Images are enabled, so if your event has a flyer or poster, you should be able to add that image into the Event details also.

- When you're done, click the 'Save Event' button.

Please note that at the moment you won't see your event on the Calendar until it has been approved by a moderator. We're going to moderate the events to begin with, to see how things go.. we'll review this later on.

Rules

At the moment NSRA Members can add and edit their own events on the Calendar. All forum users can view all Calendar events.

Please keep the events rodding-related .. shows, cruises, meets, races, garage nights, club nights, outings, should all be fine - so long as they're not private or invite-only.

Sometimes we get events that aren't strictly rodding events (tattoo events, jukebox events come to mind) - but if rods are attending or invited, or where space has been set aside for them - the event should be OK.

The NSRA reserves the right to remove events that are not in the best interests of the NSRA.
