You are probably thinking of John 'Biffo' West, as Steve Dennish didn't work at Auto Imagination.

Well actually, Roger was, as it was his story I was posting, but point taken & I did think that at the time I was reading & posting it. You'll have to forgive Roger, after all, he is probably kicking back with another flagon of Sangria on his terrace, thinking about what to do next to the old girl (Revenge!!).

Anyway, he's sent me another update....

"Memory glitch; the rear axle ratio may have been 4.56 or 5.12 I just can’t remember now. Also good to see NB`s comments and the fact that neither he nor Ed can get Holleys sorted! The only trouble I ever had was when Freedom was blown and in very cold weather the carbs would ice up also the front of the carb plenum. I would then switch off wait ten mins for the engine heat to warm through and all was ok.

I did have a problem with a Mallory dual point when one set of points stopped working and the timing retarded, a lot. I was coming back from another Guildford cruise and it was very late and dark in the country lanes. The road and trees etc were lit up by the glow of the headers and our elbows were hot. Got home ok tho."

He's come out of his coma now to tell me that, yes it was Biffo & not Steve Dennish. Well, he says it's the sun, but we all know the truth don't we, that damn Sangria!!!

    Look and weep !

picked up Freedoms body tub today the good news is the dash was still in and compete, the top half of the windscreen was still there with stays and even the front mudguards were to be found,
the pics tell the sad news that the rest is sat in the open and going home fast the owner is a very nice chap but it seams history means nothing.

What a shame. I hate to see any Rod, let alone a T get in that state. Hope you can bring it back for us to all enjoy

Right, are you sitting down Barry? Get a cup of tea or maybe something stronger, coz you're gonna need it!

It's been broken up, the body has gone to a guy nr Guildford, not sure what's happened to the rest of it but no doubt some one will let us know.

Just been speaking to Steve Bird, who says "hello you old f**t"!!

and many photos of the chassis being built outside on the pavement, when i was running Deals on wheels,or (dims on rims) as it often was called....there goes another part of history
