Same here, nothing exciting,a bit of maintenance on all three needed, just putting it off for now.
Had to service mine the other day! 12,000 miles and the fanbelt needed tightening a bit.

Wanted the rear end lower too put some camber back in the axle. So chopping the wings higher was decided upon. Neat trick with a bit of wood some velcro and a bit of abranet

Looks good John, nice trick to get the form even.
Got to ask, would it have been stronger to use some of that fiberglass reinforced filler to avoid cracks if it's stressed , sorry.
I don't even know if you can still get it,or if there is anything better nowadays.
Much harder to form to shape though.
I tried it but it wouldn't shape at all, it's about 3mm thick tops, so it gets left a while too fully cure while i get on with other bits !
Yeah,as hard as fiberglass i suppose, certanly wouldn't be able to use the abranet former on it.
Bit more done. This time flip front need a split and a star ground out. I also added a bit so i could shift a grill trim hole lower

if you mix the fibreglass filler 50/50 with normal filler you get the strength and it's easy to sand.
neil.
Thats one too try !
Moving on i needed some return flanges on the flip front wings. I m not one for lying under cars but i got them stuck in the right place !

Good fix’s and improvements John, are you planning to repaint the whole car or just the repaired panels.
Getting there John
Who cares If It's glass or steel, It's still a hot rod.
Thanks Martin. Ian it's a repaint too get other bits fixed. You'll see as it progresses

Overhead fiberglassing. One of the finer things in life! I stupidly glassed in a cowl vent in a fiberglass 32 Ford body. I think I had more resin on me than on the job!

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.
It's not too bad as i can 'flip the front' to do the rest ...it's the 'glass stuck in my hands that cheese me off !
