    Black'n'Flamed 32 3 window

I have wanted a rod since 1973 when I first saw American Graffiti.
Unfortunately not working in the motor/engineering trade and not having a garage or workshop meant it never happened.
Last Christmas I decided it was time to make the dream a reality and started to look for a running 32.
After a couple of false starts this arrived.
It runs OK but needs tidying up, new interior, alloys and some time in the future a big shinny 8-71 blower.

Been having a good look round at wheels today.
Looking at Rocket Injector 15 x 10 polished for the rears with Hoosier Prostreet 31 x 12.5 x 15 tyres and Rocket Launcher polished with the existing Vredestein vintage on the front.
Also need to have the interior completely re trimmed. Looking a black tuck 'n' roll with contrasting piping.

Happy coincidence, I just missed it a Christmas. It was advertised on one of the other forums.
Then about three weeks ago the guy got in touch to see if I was still interested as he didn't have time to do anything to it for a while.
I went up to Stoke to have a look and collected it the following week.

Waht a difference, looks so much better with those wheels & tyres.

Who cares If It's glass or steel, It's still a hot rod.

    Thanks for the positive comments.
Choosing wheels is a right pain!
Internal stuff to do now so no visual impact for a while.

Very nice piece of freshening up mate, you just need to get in the habit of posting updates more than twice a year Keep it coming.

I've removed fuel tank as the chassis has been narrowed at the back to accommodate the tubed arches the tank was hung under the rails on brackets and had no spreader bar to offer any impact protection.

First filter mounted. The big hole was the LPG filler, the small one under it is the parachute mount.
Also found my exhaust leak. The whole left pipe rotated when twisted. The U bolt at the header is screwed.

Have also fitted amber indicators front and back.
Just got the front callipers, new pipes, booster and master cylinder to fit.
I've also re wired a lot of the interior and moved the starter motor feed under the car.
I have to get it back on the road for October as I've promised to get the interior trimmed then.
    More to come

Oh yes on top of this I've also built a garage to keep it in.
Its almost finished, at least I can keep dry now.
