GM Bellhousings, steering box & inlet & carb

As part of an estate sale we have 3 aluminium GM bellhousings, a PAS steering box & a SBC inlet manifold & Holley carb.

First bellhousing is part no: 3840383, which is Chevy one for a 153 tooth flywheel, 4-5/8" centre hole, in perfect condition, no cracks or broken mounting flanges. It is compatible with all GM 4 speed trans except the small bearing retainer ones. SOLD

2nd one is part no:1249599, which is B.O.P. (Buick, Olds, Pontiac) one & fits various models inc Chevy from '75 - '79. Again in excellent condition with no obvious damage apart from the clutch fork rubber boot which is perished. SOLD

3rd one is part no: 9785581, also B.O.P. & covers vehicles from '65 - '78. In good condition with no obvious damage. SOLD

All 3 were pulled from a lockup garage with no details about them other than what I found via the internet ( see 4speedconversions website for more details). If you look on ebay, you'll only find them in the US for strong money, especially now with the dollar being so strong, average prices were between $65 - $160, offering them for £40 each ono.

Power steering box, thought to be Chevy (he was a Chevy man) but could possibly be RHD too as the mounting bracket & position of the drop arm suggests this. Appears to be in good shape & moves through its full range easily with no grating or noise. Loads of numbers all over it so no idea which one refers to its application, looking for £50 ono. SOLD

SBC inlet manifold, part no: 3882858, a cast iron '66 for a 283 with the oil filler breather tube at the front. Appears all intact & just needing a good clean up, still has a baffle plate underneath the carb which is a Holley 4 barrel with mechanical choke, think the number is 18502 if that makes sense, £30 complete ono. SOLD

All these will be at the swap meet if not sold before, lots of pics available if required, collect from Croydon area otherwise. All reasonable offers considered as they must be sold.

Thanks to all you guys most of the parts sold yesterday, however I do still have one stock cast iron SBC 327 Corvette inlet manifold (similar to above pic but without carb), a stock SBC water pump & a rebuilt SBC staggered bolt starter motor available, plus approx 20 car books, mostly US cars & some manuals, which I can take to Wheels Day if there's any interest.

To answer Redoxide's question, no we didn't find any in this garage, but there is still the one attached to the house which we haven't even looked through yet. I do know there's a TH 350 trans in there plus countless other small parts hanging on nails in the rafters but exactly what I don't, as yet, know.

We did have a a couple of SBC HEI dizzys on our stand but they're my mate's & I can't remember if he sold any of them.
