Wiring an Astra/Zafira power steering pump.

I've fabricated the brackets and mounted the pump.
Two of us have independently googled for a wiring diagram but with limited success.
This is an electro/hydraulic pump mounted on the inner wing and plumbed to the steering box.
I have a large red wire which is permanently live (70amp fuse).
A large brown wire which is earth.
There are three small wires in a waterproof multi connector.
Blue/white goes to the ignition light terminal on the alternator so the pump only runs when the engine is running.
    Black is ignition live.
I am confident that the above is correct.

    I can't identify where the brown/white connects...help please.

    Think it's for diagnostics Dusty.

Who cares If It's glass or steel, It's still a hot rod.

    Thank you Martin.
That probably explains why we can't find it.

I know this is an old thread but hopefully someone could answer my present issues. Same pump wired as above except the black and the blue n white and wired to ignition so on as soon as the ignition is on( might be the issue below). My problem is that when I turn the steering to the right, the pump tone changes and gives assistance, but nothing when turning left. My logic tells me it?s the steering box and not the pump. Anyone had this?
