    Austintatious (austin 16)

Hi, im new to the forum so hope this is in the right place, i am in the middle of recomissioning the old Austintatious from custom car april 1988, was in a bit of a mess when i bought it and had spent several years in s field in scotland, i have changed the car slightly and put my twist on it, not to everyones taste ( bit like marmite) i have also posted some pics.
If anyone has any old photos of austintatious could you post them please as i have limited pics of how it was before i had it thanks.

Good save. Hang on to as much information and evidence of its history as you can - you never know when that might come in handy these days!

Common thing for a lot of views and no posts on forums so don’t worry that people don’t like it.

I was one of the viewers that did not reply as I thought it may have been the other Austin 16 with a Jag motor that was built in 1969,I did not want to post and confuse the thread.
I can post a photo of the other Austin if you want me to

Probably saying somethings that already known, and I'm not sure as I'd need to get the wife to verify, but the pinky iteration (original build i think) was Keith and Bar Marshall, from Lancashire iirc. Later maybe it was silvery with bold graphics, still in their ownership? Could be bollix though - apologies if that's the case!

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.

Good to see it back on the road - well done. I saw it in Dundee when picking up another car from the seller.

Well,i have dug out the thread of the guy that last owned the other Austin 16 ,and resurrected my photos on there (thanks again photobucket ,NOT),it was in Wales back then, but i just did a vehicle enquiry on the reg # ,and i am afraid from the results it does not look good for this once long survivor

My mate had this car for several years. We used to go to all the shows, he in the Austin, me in my MK 1 Zodiac. I have quite a few picks kicking around of the Austin. This picture was taken in Normans pk Bromley, when we went to Bromley Padgent on the wrong weekend!!
