    Kookie

Today it was it announced that Edd Byrnes has died at the age of 87. He will be mostly remembered by many as 'Kookie' in 77 Sunset Strip and his 'T' Bucket which was a real eye opener to many of us of a certain age... It was because of him and that car which inspired me, to one day, build one for myself which I finished and put on the road in 1972 thanks to Geoff Jago. I'm sure that it did so for many more too. Photo of him believed taken around 1958-59 with the 'T'.Name: Cookie1.jpg

Sad day indeed, I grew up watching 77 Sunset Strip & yearned for a glimpse of the car in the episodes, guess that's where my love of Ts began really. Keep smiling & combing that hair, ginchy man!
