Hi, it would seem since you have carried out recent work to the website my old shortcut on my laptop is coming up with 404 not found......but oddly the shortcut on my samsung tablet is still working but it's saying it is not a secure connection....help please

Yes it will come up as an insecure website due too the http protocol as all modern stuff is now https but it should be ok too access as long as you have an up to date anti virus running
Thanks for the prompt reply John, the not secure thing was not something i'd actually noticed before but then i never took a lot of notice to be honest as it has always worked ok.....i'm a bit confused as to why the shortcut has carried on working ok on the tablet but not so on my laptop ??

That's probably due too the fact the upgrade has affected several faces of the forum the PC side of things still working fine, I'm sure in a couple of days/weeks we will be up too speed

Website doing funny things at the moment, last night I logged in on my phone, but it wouldn't let me log in on my home computer.
Today, the opposite - will let me in on the computer, but not on the phone.
Any suggestions?
Also, today, was in the middle of editing a post, then it suddenly said that I was logged off.

There working on the system live so it's throwing all sorts of problems up. I've just sorted Adam out and it's no fun !

Yeah,I took have suddenly been log..
Has there been further changes made to the forum that i might not be aware of, I cant log in (I can get on but cant actually log on) because there are lots of codes or whatever at the top of the page with no log on tick boxes etc.....there are no message links showing so I cant access my saved messages, also if I go onto any page and look at a users name I used to have the option of sending a private message but I am not seeing any of this, if I click on the members name basically nothing comes up that makes any sense.....it seems that Rods N Sods was buggered some time ago....I hope thats not gonna happen with this site !
