    oil pressure sender unit

I have a 350 SBC and need to fit my oil pressure sender unit (electric) to the block
Running an MSD Pro billet dizzy may cause interference between the two and was wondering if anybody else has had this issue and how did they solve it
    45degree 1/4 npt adaptor ?
    30 degree adatptor?
Different port to screw into ?

Currently have a capliiary tube which is not connected to anything
Will be running Autometer quad guage

Does anyone have any pics they can post up please
    Thank you

    Paul

The port on the block is shrouded by the inlet manifold which makes it difficult to offset the sender. A npt to npt nipple ( insert Bevis & Buthead s******) with a 45 npt elbow should get you where you need to be. I got I think 4 of the nipply things for not much.

Taking the reading down by the filter isn't recommended as you've no way of knowing there's decent pressure at the top of the engine.

If I can find those spare nipples I'll send you one.

Got nipples? Found, search not required, they were where they should be! Pm me the details.

Beyond the nipple I have a f/m 45 degree npt swivel type fitting followed by a f/f npt fitting. Plenty of clearance, and the swivel fitting allows for proper orientation adjustment. Pictured, coincidentally, with an MSD Pro Billet distributor! The gubbins are well buried!

    Pm'd you back!

And point of order, its all 1/8 npt as far as I'm aware, not 1/4 as you've stated, not that npt measurement makes any darned sense!!
