    Classic Car Show

Classic Car Show yesterday - Saturday - NSRA stand was very good; much better than in previous years. Great to see some excellent cars; especially Small Fry.
    Thanks - jolly good show!

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.

I'm glad people where pleased with how the stand turned out, I thought it would be good to make an impact and show a strong presence in the motor centre. I feel the NEC is the closest thing the UK will have to SEMA and we need to be there to show off our hobby and the scene!!

I'll attach some pics from my phone and will post up others from my camera when they are done

The positive response from members and public have been way above what I expected. My aim was to have a stand that appealed to everyone's taste, to show off the variety of vehicles our member's have.
Marks Chevy truck bringing the American custom style to the UK.

Charles with Small Fry being a HotRod icon and a survivor, a few people were surprised to see it and said it brought back fond memories.

Graham's MK7 Jaguar was a great bridge between the classic car community and the HotRod/Custom community.

Adam's Model A sedan with the outstanding paint work and metal flake sparking in the light, a traditional hot rod with a mix of 80's styling.

The gold theme continued with our Pre29 members with Dougie's Nostalgia Slingshot, the uniqueness of having a dragster on the stand drew a lot of people in.

We had Dave and his daughters lockdown build totrod, so many people loved it and so did the kids,

And lastly another Pre29 member, Richard with his Austin A30 appealing to the younger generation and more of the modified, stance scene.

We also gained a few new members over the weekend which is amazing.

In all I think it went down really well and hopefully brought more attention to our scene

    Well done Matt,great job

I saw a you tube video where the guy featured a few cars from the show, and the only one he filmed on our stand was Grahams Mk7 Jag, from memory his words were in summing it up was “the car Jaguar should have built” ,high praise I think, and well deserved in my opinion
