    Ford Prefect Boot Lid required

    Whats up guys

    Asking for a friend whose rodding a Prefect !
    Has anyone got or know of a boot lid please ?

    i'd edit the title with more details. include whether it's a 'sit up n beg' prefect or 100e shape prefect.

    How's thats .... could get a 'glass pop one and cut it down ?

    has he not got a bootlid at all? if he has why not reskin it?

    Yes he has a glass one but hes not happy with the fit !

    glass panels are easy to 'tweek'. if for example one top corner sticks out, wedge a lump of rag between the other top corner and tape/secure the sticky out corner in tight. leave for a week or for a more speedy fix apply heat over the boot to help 'soften the glass and it will move.

    Thanks Neil Ill tell him, i never heard of that !
    I have a glass one on my pop so if it ever needs tweaking ill try it

    yep, a bit of warmth allows a fair amount of flex in 'glass panels.
