    Windscreen sealer.

Hi, Any recommendations on a sealant to squirt under the screen rubber. It is completely dry at the moment as not on the road yet.
Also wondering what glue people are using to glue on door seal rubbers. I usually use evo stick/ contact adhesive.
    Cheers Trevor

Not used it myself but have seen it recommended in the past for sealing windscreen leaks. Used a lot on boats / camper vans etc and a product name you tend to remember.

'Classis car' non setting sealant. Go to town with it, body to rubber, rubber to glass, and any mess swipes away easily with any exposed bit finished neatly with panel wipe on a cloth. Comes in cartridge gun sizes, not toothpaste type / size tubes. When stored it doesn't go off in the tube either.

On seals I've only ever used US sourced 3m Weatherstrip Adhesive. It's a kinda of rubber based contact adhesive. Available in black and EvoStick ish browny colour. Sticks great but parts can be removed if necessary, unlike say Sickaflex or similar.
Not sure about availability in the uk though, but never looked!

I know some use Tiger Seal for absolutely everything, glueing, bonding, sealing, gaskets etc to good effect. Never tried it myself, but might do.

Bumper sticker - This is an historic vehicle and only has three speeds....... if you don't like this one you sure as hell won't like the others.

Weatherstrip adhesive for the seals as Chris mentions. Both 3M and Permatex easily available on Ebay. It's the only correct way and works. Make sure you clean rubbers and use it as a contact by applying to each surface.
