    35/36/Pilot windscreen frame

    Looking for a 35/36/pilot windscreen frame in chrome must be good, anyone holding or know of one ?....

    Hi I think I have answered this add before. To get a Pilot or 35/36 screen frame in good condition, I assume by this you mean not needing rechroming is a very long shot. All 75/80 year old screens are going to want rechroming, unless somebody has already done it for a project. If they have done this it will not be forsale. I think you will have to accept the fact a straight screen plus plating is going to be in the region of £250. Obsolete parts are never cheap. I still have a Pilot screen available with glass, not including regulator. Price is firm as discussed earlier.

    Marcus , yes I am more than aware but if you know anyone that can plate your frame and it all comes in at ?250 ? i'll be all over it ...

    Hi the figure of £250 was a ballpark figure of the top of my head. That doesnt take into account the ballache of dismantling collecting and finding a good plater to do the work. Maybe its on the low side, I dont know. The situation is I want £175 for the brass surround and glass. I guess plating is going to cost another £150, I dont know. So £250 is on the low side. Good luck in trying to track one down.
