    That circle of life

    Hi everyone.

I'm new to the forum but definitely not new to Hot Rods and American Muscle etc. I've been a car nut since I passed my test in 1980, yep I really am that old.
Over the years I have owned among others, two rodded pops, a couple of corvettes, a 64 caddy, and various other wonderful pieces of automotive history on wheels.
Like most of us, bills, family commitments and other life stuff sometimes gets in the way, but now at the grand old age of 55, I'm now having a '55 Chevy TLB Replica built and I'm on the look out for a chopped Pop too, having nearly bought one back in the late 80's and changing my mind at the last minute, which I have regretted ever since. I'd love to buy that exact pop if I could find it. It was for sale in "Ed Turners" in Hayes, Middx, circa 1989-91, it was chopped, gun metal grey with a blown V6 and Jag IRS etc.

I'm hoping to come to the Nats in Aug in my Chevy, unless its not ready in which case if I've found the Pop I'll be in that.

Thanks both. Update on the Pop situation, that particular one has gone to the states, so I'm now on the lookout for a turnkey chopped pop with either Ford V6 or American V8 power.
