Na the ones on the frame at min are the ones that are staying - may even treat em to a polish one day

Not many updates lately .. been busy with work and family etc… plus an incident involving lots cider a pushbike some rope and a car ended up with a suspected broken foot .. turns out it’s not broke so back on the car …

engine back in frame



flywheel .. twin disc clutch .. hydraulic throw out sorted.. new transmission crossmember made for the tko box



Brake and clutch pedals drilled shaped up and painted



Blower bolted down



Blower drive and carb adapter on plus some new valve covers from Tom on ten forum




carbs on



drilled valve covers for breathers last night .. waiting on some plumbing bits and wiring bits, need to make some header caps and finish exhaust… then plan on firing motor up in the frame and brake cam in.. wish me luck

not a lot to report been busy with family camping trip .. a trip to Scotland to watch ac/dc and lots work on but have been chipping away at chassis .. and body has gone to paint shop .. I popped in to see it earlier comin on ok .. hoping to fire motor before drags then get body back on after .. plan on goin to hot rod drags to drink cider for weekend and watch racin if weather forecast is dry before a winter of head down and try nail all this **** together .. think Mrs has had enough of car parts all through the house now

Just a couple pics from the paint man today - a shot of motor coming together gettin ready to make some noise and a very hi tec command module being wired up so we can keeo eye on vitals during cam break in ..

speaking of break in - what break in oil you boys using? this lucas gear any good??
