I have a 302 V8, previous owner (trusted) told me it had been running ok in previous vehicles, but then when it was fitted into the latest project, it was very smoky.
I was hoping for an easy fix!
But inside the engine is filthy, oil is gritty, I removed one of the main caps and all the white metal had gone.
Bores didnt look too, bad, and the part of the crank I saw didn't look bad, but really it needs a complete rebuild.

Anyone want to make me an offer?

Selling engine without heads, bottom end only. Sump will need replacing too.
