Well it's a start !
What we want is a bit more to tell us about you and your past /future ie cars owned/ built / planned ,what dragged you into the custom scene, past involvements that sort of thing. The idea is so we all have a better idea of who 'we' are talking to so as to promote a better 'we are all family' feel on here ,
thanks in advance for your help,
Kev

Come on Tim,
At least a name, where you hail from, what got you into HotRods, do you have one, are you building one, what is your ideal car, how long you've been into cars, etc, etc get the idea.
Look at mine (Link below) for some sort of inspiration.
Don't adjust your sets.
Yes I have just been on the forum!

Right then, the location bolivia thing was left over from the old thing, changed it twice before I realised that there was a save changes button(DOH).
AS for me, Just got my pop through its second MOT, its a car I've wanted for ages, had hoped to drive the wheels offit in the summer, but had a few heath issues, so looking forward to the winter & summer. Also have a hardtail chop & a V8 powered jet boat(all not used much this year due to the afore mentioned poor health), but will be back on the bike in the next few days:-)
I've always had 'different ' cars, not always rods, but usually with bigger engines, I guess like most on here I just love to tinker with stuff.
Can't really say when this love of 'junk' started, but can remember going to the Ally Pally shows in the early 80's as well as the Wheelsdays when they were at Slyfield. before anyone moans about the junk bit - you should see my stash of usefull stuff!!!
Ive got a few plans hatching right now, next build might be a bobtail 4door rangerover v8 on gas with full external cage, lifted suspension etc, this will replace my daily & will act as a tow car for the boat & as a plaything for trialling at the weekends when there's no water to ski on. The Pop might be replaced with an RPU of some sort, not finally decided which style is right for me yet, but it would have to have a useable sized bed so it could be used as a parts hauler, quite like the look of the one Lancelot link posted earlier on.
Tim.
