How to post Pictures to be visible full size

    Posting your own pictures

I use Imagecave . This is a free webhost site it is limited in that it has a 10Mb limit, but it is easy to use. There are others available (webshots, etc etc ), but I personally prefer this one.

Register on there (it's free), then follow the instructions for loading pictures. If you find the picture has an exclaimation mark next to it's name you may well need to reduce it's size. This can be done with the modify button. Oralternatively by using Pixresizer before you upload it. (Ideal size is 800 x 600 pixels)

Once you have loaded and resized (if needed) your pictures, goto the EZCODE (third one down) and 'cut and paste' (Scroll your mouse over the text whilst depressing the left button, then 'Right Click and select 'Copy', then once in your posting, 'Right Click' and select 'Paste') into your post which will look a bit like this:-

(ignore the HTML bit that's just to stop this forum making it show as a picture)

    HTML Code:
     [img]http://usera.imagecave.com/Klunk/Rover/001.jpg[/img]
    Borrowing pictures off the web

When you find a picture that you would like to display direct on this forum, 'Right Click' on the picture, this will display the Properties. Select the URL address, 'Cut' (highlight, with the left buttom depressed, then 'Right Click' and select 'Copy') Go to your posting on this forum type [IMG] then 'Paste' (right click, and select 'Paste'), this will put the URL address of the original picture on the screen then type [/IMG]

With both of the above, always use the Preview Post (click Go Advance, and then Preview Post) button to check that the image is working. Once you are happy that it is, hit submit.

Hopefully the above is easy to follow, if you get really stuck, PM (click on my name in my Avatar and select Send PM) me and I'll try and help.

The size was ok. You just hadn't used the 'return key' after each picture so they just spread right across the screen, which makes it hard to read, as you have to scroll across.

I tidied it up anyway, I wouldn't worry too much, you'd be surprised how many other people's picture threads get 'tidied' in the background.

When in imagecave: right click to copy.
Then, come on here and right click to get option to paste when replying on a thread.
What you will get is a code (not a picture),click 'preview post' or 'submit reply' and your picture will appear.

For multiple pictures in one reply,go back and forth from imagcave to nsra doing the right click copy, right click paste thing. Not forgetting to hit the 'enter' button to put the pictures underneath each other.

Can't I upload from my own computer, or must it be hosted from another site, or webpage?
