Be careful out in the workshop

Here's a top tip, when you have just spent hours flake painting a panel and then a few more hours colour sanding it, put it somewhere safe, do not put it behind you where you can step back and knock it over and chip it all
Any advice or help given is actually based on having done the job, not read about doing it or Googling it.

actually what you don't wana do is open the garage door with a spade after your newly painted and MOTed rod has got stuck in the garage when the cable on the up and over door mechanism busts.......really not a good idea!

Steve know where your at with that. Spent 3 hours last night striping and paneling a helmet. Quite chuffed with how some new lines i'd tried had come out. Put to one side to dry off.

My brother pops his head in the garage, spots the helmet and before i could tell its wet, runs his hands over the helmet commenting on the work. In one fal swoop he manged to smudge ALL of the main design. In a panic he then manged to get wet fingerprints over the remaining untouched design. What a tw*t!

As of yesturday i no longer have a brother to speak of and have fitted a lock on the inside of the garage!!! Should have done it years ago

Can smile about it now (just!) but was mad as hell last night and properly went off on one.

    Ho hum, all calm now

    Dan
